~ Lesson Number 3 ~ الدرس الثالث Contrasting التَغَايُر , On the other hand من الناحية الأخرى، ,However لكن ، . . .Yes, but نعم، لكن. . . . . .You may be right, but قَدْ تَكُون على حق ، لكن. . . . . .I may be wrong, but قَدْ أكُون مخطئ، لكن. . . . . .Correct me if I'm wrong, but صحّحني إن كنت على خطأ، لكن. . . ,On the contrary بالعكس (Be careful with this one. It appears to be a direct negation of what was just stated, but can actually be an emphatic reaffirmation of one's own opinion. For example: It's not hot. On the contrary, it's cold.??Not hot? and ?cold? mean the same thing.)
