Using Measure Words
إستعمال كلمات القياس


This can be used to practice Count and Non-count nouns in context.
When talking about non-count items (such as sugar, water, (,toothpaste, etc
it is common to use measure words to indicate how much of the substance you are referring to.
.Below are a few examples of measure words used in English
يمكنك أستخدام هذا الدرس لمُمَارَسَة حِساب الأسماء المعدوده والغير معدوده. (في الدرس القادم )
عندما نتحدث عن موادِ غيرِ معدوده (مثل السُكّرِ، ماء، معجون أسنان، الخ. )،
من الشائع إستعمالِ كلمات القياس للإشارة إلى كَميةْ المادةِ التي تشير إليها.
يوجد تحت بضعة أمثلة عن كلماتِ قياس تستعمل في اللغةِ الإنجليزيةِ.

Tag questions are used when seeking confirmation of what one believes to be
true. They restate, in question form, the previously spoken sentence. For example,
الأسئلة المقتبسة تَستعملُ عندما تُريدُ التأكيدَ على الأعتقادات الصحيحة التي يعتقدها
الواحد . في طريقة السؤال ، الجملة السابقة. على سبيل المثال،


? He is an engineer. Isn't he

In tag questions, the corresponding pronoun and the first verb of the corresponding yes/no
question are used. Also, notice that with positive statements, negative tag questions

Some modals can be used in tag questions: can, will, would, could, should and must.
بعض الأفعال يُمْكِنُ أستعمالها في أسئلةِ الأقتباسِ: يُمْكِنُ أَنْ، سَـ ( للمستقبل ) ، يُمْكِنُ أَنْ، يَجِبُ أَنْ ويَجِبُ أَنْ.


? Mr. James will be at the ceremony. Won't he
السّيد جيمس سَيَكُونُ في الحفل. أليس كذلك؟

? They couldn't do it. Could they
لا يَستطيعونَ فعل ذالك . أليس كذلك؟


Note: When the subject is ?I? and the statement is in present tense, aren't is commonly used for tag questions.
لاحظ: عندما يكون الموضوع عن؟ أنا؟ والعبارة في الزمنِ الحاليِ،( لَمْ ) تستَعمل دائماً في أسئلةِ الأقتباس .


?I'm the winner. Aren't I
أَنا الفائزُ. أليس كذلك ؟
